Because all parents need to be able to clean easily, you can easily brush dirt off the mat and wipe it off with a cloth. Cleaning with a soft cloth and a neutral detergent (eg washing-up liquid or hand soap) should be able to remove most stains. If there is still a stain that you cannot remove, do not use harsh chemicals as this can damage the mat. Instead, try mixing baking soda with a little bit of water and leave the mixture on the stubborn stain for a few hours before wiping it off.
