Because all parents need to be able to clean easily, you can easily brush dirt off the mat and wipe it off with a cloth. Cleaning with a soft cloth and a neutral detergent (eg washing-up liquid or hand soap) should be able to remove most stains. If there is still a stain that you cannot remove, do not use harsh chemicals as this can damage the mat. Instead, try mixing baking soda with a little bit of water and leave the mixture on the stubborn stain for a few hours before wiping it off.

We want you to love your Hyggi play mat as much as we do. We understand that it can be difficult to see online, so we offer a sample swatch service to help you decide which play mat will suit your home best. We send the samples as soon as possible so that you can feel the quality of the dense memory foam, check colors against the living room wall or sofa and generally get a really good idea of the play mats.
We want the swatch service to be sustainable, so include a free return label and encourage you to send them back to us once you've decided which mat you like best. We therefore charge a deposit for the swatches together with postage. When you send the swatch back to us, we refund your deposit, so all you pay is the first postage from us to you - we take care of the rest!
